Another triumph of socialized medicine

Even beyond the absolute cruelty of such an order is the fact that, ahem, a woman on heavy painkillers and with her abdominal wall held together with stitches and staples is not exactly going to do a very good job at the task. If you were trying to set up a way of ensuring that the next patient would have a significant risk of infections, you could hardly do better.
