It's a Depression, again

Just got let go from my job today, just as I thought I was getting some real traction on some important things there.  Pray for me, and for that matter, pray for those who will be working there still.  It was past time to get out, but I would have preferred it on my own terms.

Shoot, I'm sorry. I completely understand the "it was time to get out, but preferring it on your own terms" sentiment - been there, gone through that.

Many prayers. Enjoy a few days with your beautiful family. You're a worker, work will find you soon enough.

Thanks, y'all. God is already providing the resources to ride this out, if not with a new job yet. And again, pray for those still there. I learned some things over the weekend that indicate that it may be a lot uglier than I had guessed.

I'm sorry to heart that, BB.

Lord Jesus, you care for the birds of the air. You deck the flowers of the field in finery. We trust this to be so. Likewise we trust that you will also care for Bert and his family, giving them every needful thing this day and leading them into a future full of your provision.

We pray also for those who remain at Bert's former place of employment. Help them to ever trust in you for every good thing and to do their work with gladness. Amen

God Bless you and yours in this time. I've been through that myself a few times, but God has been faithful.

God speed. If there is any networking... I love to help... I'm sure there are plenty of employers that need a smart guy like you...

Seriously, the big question is, what would you like to do next? Please let us know.

We'll remember you in our prayers, too. (I never did know who you were working for this time... ;^)
