President Obama hates this woman

He certainly won't admit it--and perhaps he even thinks he's doing her a favor--but in reality, President Obama hates Sandra Fluke.

How so?  Well, in saying that she spent $3000 in law school for contraception, she's basically admitting that not only is she violating her Catholic faith by sleeping around, but she doesn't even have the self-respect to tell suitors "if you want to sleep with me, you at least need to bear the costs of contraception."

In short, any loving person should be staging an intervention, not congratulating her on her testimony.  By doing the latter, Obama is aiding and abetting her incredibly self-destructive habits.  There are not too many criminals who could do Ms. Fluke worse harm than President Obama has.  Conversely, if Ms. Fluke will only listen, Rush Limbaugh is really one of her best friends.

At the cost Ms. Fluke claimed, there had to be either (a) abortions or (b) lying on her part, too. Remember, condoms would not be covered under Mr. Obama's plan to destroy Ms. Fluke and countless other women.

That's simply not true. Many oral contraceptives run as much as $100/month if you are paying out of pocket for them. Law school is 3 years. So $3000 is entirely plausible, especially considering that you have to show up for annual exams to get a prescription. In fact, it could cost more.

You might not think that is your problem, and that is certainly your right. But there's no need to participate in slandering someone for articulating a viewpoint with which you disagree.

i just read where walmart had them for $9 a month.

not into it myself, and have never had a use for them (though i remember a gf who got her script for about $10 a month, but this was in the 80's though) so my first hand knowledge is limited.

Brian, given that all birth control pills are basically the same--a certain mix of estrogen and progesterone--what we would have then is this woman (a) taking the name brand medication that differs only subtly from the generic and (b) not admitting to Congress that she was choosing the Cadillac version of her own free will, and that even insurance companies that cover birth control don't generally cover name brands when a generic is suitable.

In short, "lying." Shame she wasn't under oath, as "lying to
Congress" would look SO good on a bar application.

Sorry, I should have realized it was a mistake to take you seriously when you said "Mr. Obama's plan to destroy Ms. Fluke and countless other women."

No mistake at all. What do you think happens to a person who (a) gets congratulated for misleading testimony to Congress while (b) believing that the taxpayer/Catholic organizations owe her her Cadillac birth control and (c) that her lover does not?

Even apart from the fornication issue, Mr. Obama has been unspeakably cruel to Ms. Fluke--and even more cruel to women who are getting the same encouragement from him, but won't have the lawyer's income that Ms. Fluke will presumably attain.
